In a letter from J.Bocking of Lugoff, America, he states:
George and Sarah Bocking married thinking that they were not related. Anantiquarian said they were and proved it. I assume the "Antiquarean" wasWilliam Bocking who died in 1867 age 88. H e had taught Sunday School atBradwell for 60 years. He was the brother of Hugh Bocking who is anancestor of Bob (Robert) Bocking in Canada.
