IGI shows this marriage as being to Ellen Anderson (so does Hope CD). She was a widow when they married.
IGI shows daughter Mary’s christening having parents Johnson Evans and Mary. The CD with Hope baptisms contradicts this, and says Ellen was the mother. IGI says 1802, Hope CD says 1801 (same month and day).
